With more than 30 years of experience, Julia has advised privately held businesses on how to streamline operations, strengthen financial management, and build stronger leadership teams. Her programs — including Fiscal Fitness™, which grew out of her early Boot Camp Series, and Performance Navigator™ — provide practical, results-driven solutions that keep business owners and executives focused, disciplined, and profitable.
Julia’s consulting and coaching work is complemented by her speaking engagements, where she delivers engaging, actionable presentations on strategic planning, performance management, financial clarity, and leadership. A Certified Management Consultant® (CMC®) and former Chair/CEO of the Institute of Management Consultants USA (2021–2023), Julia brings recognized expertise and the highest professional standards to every engagement. She holds an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a BS in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration from the University of South Carolina.

All consultants or staff members representing Stanford, LLC will have signed agreements to abide by the IMC USA Code of Ethics, the text of which follows below:
All IMC USA members and Certified Management Consultants® (CMCs®) pledge in writing to abide by the Institute’s Code of Ethics. Their Adherence to the Code signifies voluntary assumption of self-discipline. As the professional association and certifying body for management consultants in the United States, IMC USA requires adherence to this Code of Ethics as a condition of membership and certification. The standard of conduct set forth in this Code provide basic principles in the ethical practice of management consulting. The purpose of this Code is to help IMC USA members maintain their professionalism and adhere to high ethical standards in the conduct of providing services to clients and their dealings with their colleagues and the public. The individual judgement of Members and CMCs® is required to apply these principles. Members and CMCs® are liable to disciplinary action under the IMC USA Rules of Procedure for Enforcement of this Code if their conduct is found by the IMC USA Ethics Committee to be in violation of the Code or to bring discredit to the profession or to IMC USA.

Holder of an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a BS in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration from the University of South Carolina, Julia is a Certified Management Consultant® (CMC®), the certification mark awarded by the Institute of Management Consultants USA (IMC USA) which represents meeting the highest global standards and ethical canons of the profession. Fewer than 1% of all consultants have achieved this level of excellence. Currently, she serves as Immediate Past Chair and CEO of IMC USA.
Born and raised in South Carolina, Julia moved 19 times between 1984 and 1996 while working as a troubleshooter and operational specialist in various businesses across the southeastern region of the United States. She now resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
